Donate Building Materials

Donating high-quality building materials, new or used, helps people repair and improve their homes while also sparing the environment from needless waste. Are you remodelling or demolishing and wishing to give perfectly good cabinet sets, countertops, sinks, faucets and appliances a new home? Or windows, shades and blinds, doors and window and door hardware? Air conditioners, boilers or furnaces, domestic hot water heaters, fireplace inserts and wood stoves? Tile, flooring, even siding? Donate them to the Boston Building Resources, and all these donations are tax deductible.

The Reuse Center at Boston Building Resources is a charitable nonprofit that accepts donations of new and gently used materials for resale located at 100 Terrace Street in Boston’s Roxbury Crossing neighborhood. Aside from taking donations, you can also buy energy-efficient, water-saving, and environmentally friendly items such as rain barrels, home compost bins, weather stripping, and materials made from recycled components.
